Inspiring thriving gardens in Northern California's shade since 1964.
How to select, site, plant, and enjoy the colors of fall.
In this class, taught by award-winning garden maker Mike Boss and noted horticulturist Bob Hornback, you will see mature specimens of trees with glorious fall foliage and learn how to add their invigorating color to your autumn garden. You will also learn about shrubs and perennials that add fall foliage interest. The class will meet in the outdoor classroom for a presentation with examples, and then proceed with a walk through the Hidden Forest Botanical Reserve to see these specimens in the field. Bring a notebook, as the session will be jam-packed with fun and useful information. Wear layers and sturdy shoes.
